This time I read Mi-chan and Airi, a yuri manga by Natsuo Ichikawa.

It's about Midori, an office lady who's entire life revolves around her work and thus is in a constant state of exhaustion. One day on her way home from work she finds a girl in the trash. She takes her home and finds out that she's Airi, a witch who can take away one's exhaustion with a kiss. Midori lets Airi live with her and over time Midori learns that life isn't all work and no play while Airi struggles with her feelings of not being self-sufficient. In these broad strokes I think there's something here that could've been done well, but I mostly felt underwhelmed. It felt like I never got the development between the beats you'd expect in this kind of story, which just led to it being kind of flat. There's a few cute moments sprinkled throughout and I liked the art, but I wish it was more fleshed out than it was.
